Document stating parents income certificate.

Birth and Educational certificates.
Certificates pertaining to Domicile and work-
experience.
2 letters of recommendation.
2 letters of addresses and telephone numbers.
A short 2 page summary as to why the
individual wishes to go abroad.

TERMS
Operates a loan grant scheme , for students
going abroad on an interest free basis but money lent must be pare turned in 2 years.
Students who receive Rs 20,000 each may be in
any stream of study though those in Science and technology tend to predominate.
Specific non returnable grants for students
wishing to go abroad to study Journalism and Communications is seldomly availed.

CONDITIONS
The student should have secured or an assistantship\ fellowship to maintain him or herself abroad.
Of the
100 applicants, 20 are usually selected.

CONDITIONS
Students should have obtained first class or
high second class all through in any stream of study.
Loans which
may be granted up to a maximum of Rs 50,000/- are provided at 4% interest
He should have secured admission to the
foreign institute he wishes to join
Repayment is expected in one year though
extenuating circumstances receive sympathetic consideration from the trustees.
Documents required
An agreement to be signed with the Trustees.
An insurance policy of the value of one and a half times the sanctioned loan in
favor of the trustees.
Papers pertaining to a respectable individual who will stand as surety.
Any foreign aid is a point in favor of the
student and graduates as well as post-graduates can apply though post graduates are
usually beneficiary.

Funds come from the UK BASED Soroptomist club.
Help in payingdifferent amounts in different ways.

textbooks, uniforms or commuting costs.
