Italy, Monza - September 14th - 16th - 2001
About the Italian GP
The Italian Grand Prix seems to have a habit of putting on an excellent show, which makes
it such an eagerly awaited event on the F1 calendar. The frenzied fans with eyes only for
Ferrari set the shows atmosphere, and Maranello, in the past few years, has ruled
the roost. Last year the race was one of high emotion with the death of a marshal, as well
as Michael Schumachers victory, which gave the German his third title and
Ferraris first in 21 years.
Set up
Very low wing settings. Stiff front suspension is required to balance the low grip levels
in the slower turns thanks to the minimal downforce settings.
