About the Belgian GP
The Spa-Francorchamps circuit is still the most challenging circuit on the calendar, and
the Belgian Grand Prix is normally scene of good racing. Its hilly nature with the awesome
Eau Rouge is still a favourite amongst most drivers, as well as fans who flock there from
all over the world. The weather never fails to throw up surprises, and a good qualifying
performance is required to secure the ideal grid position. Last years race was
notable following Mika Hakkinens excellent win, which included one of the best
overtaking moves of all time when he passed Michael Schumacher into Les Combes.
Set up
Downforce settings need to be medium to low to promote high speeds on Spas long
straights. An all round balance is essential to be competitive on this challenging layout.
