Pune - Student city! And students love festivals! Barring the exam season, there is something or  the other that is charging up the youth in the city! Beginning in Jan where most Colleges have their own festivals be it Verve , in the early week of February held at MIT or QuickSilver of  Fergusson which plays hot and cold( what with it being surrounded by a lot of controversy all the time) or Transcend by Symbiosis or Gandhaar by PUMBA. These festivals are names to be reckoned with, and now attract colleges from all over the country!

Not to miss the seminars and various other interactive events that keep happening within the city for these youngsters!


Though April, May June see a lot of exams and the heat fever, the sagging spirits are uplifted with numerous freshers parties in July as the new entrants make their way and also give rise to numerous college festivals like Neev organised by Symbiosis or the popular fest organised by AFMC or BMCC’s popular stock market game!

While most of these festivals are inter - collegiate festivals, many colleges organise their own inhouse do’s to keep the spirits alive!

And then not to miss the spate of inter - collegiate fashion shows or dance competitions like Dance Trance organised by various clubs or organisations which has every college vying for the crown! Most festivals boast of similar calendar of events - informals, fashion show, Choreography, Music, Creatives, Mad ads and not to miss maybe a rock show or a performance by an Indipop artiste to top it up! And the bucks keeps getting bigger and better with sponsors making a byline for such big events! So whacya waiting for. There’s a festival round the corner!
