Looking for an escape from all the city pollution, traffic and noise? Take off
and head
A 5km drive from the Deccan Gymkhana away towards Warje is Pune's largest (600m)
and India's only dirt track.
Besides go-karting and the usual facilities that go with it, you could amuse
yourself at their pool tables at a rate of Rs.50/30 minutes and Rs.100/hour,
electronic dartboards or then you could try your hand at mini golf or else you
could just laze around in their cafeteria. The rates are rather reasonable at
Rs.20 per 1 lap, Rs.50 per 4 and Rs.100 per 9. Here too age no bar.
For those who eat, sleep and drink race tracks, this is the place to be what
with their décor and ambience being done on the lines of anything and
everything got to do with racing! Popular on Wednesdays, Fridays and the weekends,
this track is open from 11:00am-11:00pm.
A pub complete with karaoke et al is in their scheme of things besides the availability
of small bikes for kids as well as adults. Though one of the latest entrants
into the entertainment scheme, you've got to try them out! |
