Padale plaza, above Ajinkya hotel, Sharda Centre Complex, off Karve road.

Definitely one of the better places to hang out, with 4 pool tables and one snooker table. Also has a cyber cafe inside it (though under a different proprietorship). Loud music blasting, thwacking of balls and sticks, shouts and cheers of spectators and players all go to make a medley that can be heard before you enter the building even. The place is nice, clean, air-conditioned, and most importantly there is ample of space between tables so you don't have to worry about jamming your stick into somebody else's bottom. You may smoke, buy a soft drink or coffee at the counter or get your own food even, but try none of this when you are at the table playing.

The crowd is of a mixed variety, with quite a few girls, beginners usually on the pool tables while pros seriously playing snooker. Best part about
the place is the music, loud but not painful, and a good selection of numbers all the time. These guys should have been DJs!

They also have happy hours in the day upto 4 pm, where rates are Rs. 40 and Rs. 70 respectively for half hour and one hour, Rs. 100 per hour after
4.00. For snooker it's Rs. 120 in the morning and Rs. 140 in the evening. They stay open well into the night. All in all, a neat place for a good game.
